The biggest mistake entrepreneurs make is to treat waste limits as a simple boundary: below the limit there are no obligations, above the limit BDO appears. In practice, the issue is more complex. The limits, which are most often referred to in the context of BDO, relate primarily to the exemption from the obligation to keep waste records, not to a general exemption from all environmental obligations.
