It is with great pride and emotion that we announce that during yesterday's Sports Champions Ball in Zielona Góra, Ekopro-group had the honour of presenting the award for Best Athlete with a Disability in 2025. Our award went to a man who is the definition of determination and sporting passion - the Piotrek Grudzień.
Why is this so important to us?
At the Ekopro Group, we believe that true mastery is born in the head and the heart. The choice of Piotr was not accidental. As a table tennis icon and player of ZSR „START” Zielona Góra, Piotr is:
- 6-time Paralympic Games medallist (2 golds, 1 silver, 3 bronzes),
- Multiple medallist at the World, European and Polish Championships,
- Ambassador of our city in the world's greatest sporting arenas.
Respect without barriers
Supporting sport for people with disabilities is a lesson in humility for us. We have the utmost respect for the barriers that athletes like Peter have to overcome every day to reach for the highest laurels. It's not just a fight for points at the table, it's a fight for character that inspires us all in our daily work.
