Go Green - EKOPRO Group

Thanks to the GoGreen project - German-Polish Competence Centre for Sustainable Development - companies from the Lubuskie and Brandenburg regions 

Eastern companies can count on comprehensive support in their green transformation process. This initiative responds to the growing need for companies to align their operations with the requirements of the European Green Deal.

The project is a pilot and is being implemented as part of the INTERREG VI A Brandenburg-Poland Cooperation Programme 2021-2027, co-funded 80% by the European Union (European Regional Development Fund).
The project has a budget of €935,063.48 and is scheduled to run from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2027.

The aim of the project is to support at least 80 companies from the border region - 40 each from Poland and Germany - in their ecological transformation. The centre has two representations: in Gorzów Wielkopolski (at the Western Chamber of Industry and Commerce) and in Frankfurt (Oder) (at the IHK-Projektgesellschaft mbH).

  • Research and Development Centres of the University of Zielona Góra Ltd,
  • GRUPA EKOPRO sp. z o.o. sp. k.

EKOPRO Group Brings expertise in environmental consulting, auditing and environmental compliance to the GoGreen project. It supports companies with risk analysis, ESG reporting and the implementation of sustainable solutions in line with the European Green Deal.

Planned project activities:

The project includes a range of activities to support businesses:

Green Solutions Expert„ training programme” - workshops and practical exercises for 50 companies, preparing them to implement green solutions.

12 German-Polish webinars on sustainable development and climate neutrality

Establishment of working groups on climate neutrality - exchange of knowledge and experience between companies from both countries.

Eco-Scouting - environmental audits for 30 companies, including:

  • energy consumption analysis (Energy Eco-Scouting),
  • Environmental, social and corporate governance assessment (Eco-Scouting ESG),
  • analysis of the flow of materials and raw materials (Environmental Eco-Scouting),
  • calculating the carbon footprint.

Eco-Coaching - adapting company processes to environmental requirements and identifying potential for green innovation.

GREEN INNOVATION Good Practice Guide - a collection of best practices to promote climate neutrality, based on the experience of companies from Poland and Germany.

Go Green Economic Congress - an annual German-Polish forum for the exchange of experience and presentation of innovative technologies.
