Eco-education

Eco-education is about building symbiosis by learning about the problems of the environment in which we live. It is the education of a self-learning community with the overarching goal of environmental protection and social development in line with a circular economy.

Eco-education - part of ecosystem protection

Environmental education should be a fundamental activity to prepare society to protect the whole ecosystem. It is an element in the development and activity of society in realising the implementation of the circular economy model. Widespread eco-education among the public of all ages will bring tangible economic, social, economic and environmental benefits. Eco-education should be carried out in 4 areas:

  • kindergartens, schools, universities (environmental education for children, young people and adults),
  • workplaces,
  • places of public interest,
  • media campaign.

Environmental education is an opportunity for society as a whole to gain knowledge about environmental protection and sustainability.

What are the benefits of eco-education?

Above all, environmental education is:

  • Social benefits - promotes sustainability, fosters the creation of communities focused on local development and environmental protection,
  • economic benefits - understanding the impact of economic activities on the environment can contribute to more efficient and sustainable resource management,
  • economic benefits - real savings and cost optimisation through the application of circular economy principles,
  • environmental benefits - improving air, land and water quality, protecting biodiversity and reducing emissions of harmful human activities on the environment.

As an EKOPRO GROUP we offer environmental consulting and training and webinars, which raise environmental awareness.
