KOBiZE - what is it?
At EKOPRO Group, we strive to support you in the effective management of your environmental obligations - including challenging issues such as reporting to the National Emissions Database (NERB). We know that accurately documenting atmospheric emissions can be a time-consuming and demanding process. Our services are designed to ensure safety and compliance - without overstretching organisational resources.
What is the KOBiZE report and why is it so important?
The KOBiZE report is an annual declaration that collects data on the emissions of greenhouse gases and other air pollutants arising from your activities. This document is important from the perspective of climate policy - both at national and EU level. The National Emissions Database enables systematic monitoring of the state of the air, which translates into effective planning of environmental measures.
Reliable data provided by companies provide the basis for assessing progress towards climate targets. The KOBiZE report is therefore an important element of shared responsibility for the environment - also in business terms.

KOBiZE - what is it in practice?
The KOBiZE report is a tool for recording all emissions from economic activities - both on the scale of large industrial plants and smaller companies. The data include emissions generated by company vehicles, heating equipment, production installations (e.g. welding and painting shops), as well as by less obvious sources such as forklift trucks or lawnmowers.
The reporting obligation applies to environmental users - regardless of size. In practice, this means that also bakeries, workshops, offices with air-conditioning systems or small service businesses may be subject to the reporting obligation. The only exceptions are those entities that did not generate any air emissions in a given calendar year.
Who must report and KOBiZE by when? Obligations and deadlines
The obligation to report to the National Emissions Database applies to all companies that introduce gases or other substances into the air. If the activity generates any emissions - a report is required.
The deadline for submission of the report is invariable and falls annually on the last day of February - for the previous year. For example: the report for 2024 must be submitted by 28 February 2025.
We realise that gathering all the required data can be time-consuming, which is why we offer you comprehensive support in the preparation of your documentation - both current and backdated (up to five years back).
Report preparation process - no stress and no mistakes
The preparation of a KOBiZE report requires the collection and organisation of a great deal of information - including the type of substances emitted, their quantities, the measurement methods used, the location of emission sources and their technical parameters. This data is entered via a dedicated electronic platform.
As part of our cooperation with the EKOPRO Group, we offer you full support in this process. Among other things, we help you set up an account in the KOBiZE system, verify the completeness of the documentation and the correctness and timeliness of the report submission. If it is necessary to establish a power of attorney and pay stamp duty - we can also carry out these activities on your behalf, relieving your company of the formalities and saving your team's time.
What if you do not submit a KOBiZE report?
Failure to submit the KOBiZE report on time does not result in an automatic financial penalty, but this does not mean that there are no consequences at all. In the case of an inspection by the Environmental Protection Inspectorate, the company may be obliged to submit the overdue report by means of a post-inspection order.
Failure to respond to such a call may already lead to administrative sanctions. Regularity and compliance are the basis for responsible business conduct.
